Psalm 19: 7-14 (NKJV)
Leader: The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
Congregation: The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
Leader: The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
Congregation: More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Leader: Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.
Congregation: Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.
Leader: Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.
All: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.
Our Pledge:
We rely totally on the word of God. We walk by faith and not by sight.
We strive for excellence! Excellence is never cheap. It is always costly.
Constant care and serious preparation and continual application is involved, along with discipline and determination. We should always be in prayer one for another.
We aid in the welfare of others. We are good stewards over what God has entrusted to us. We must believe in change without disturbing the essentials.
We will not settle for anything less.

“What We Believe”
Having been led, as we believe by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, in the presence of God, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ. John 6:44 Romans 10:9-10
In the Way of Baptism
This is keeping with the examples of the New Testament baptism and the command of our Lord. John 4:2 Matthew 28:19-20 Acts 2:41
Striving for Church Advancement
We are the church. We must advance:
| John 13:34-35 | |
| Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 2:15 | |
| Romans 12:1 | |
| 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 |
Financially Supporting Your Church Home
Contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spreading of the gospel to all nations. John 3:17
2 Corinthians 9:6-7, Malachi 3:10: It is our prayer that you grow in the fellowship and in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
DECLARATION OF FAITH
The Scriptures
We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction; that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error, for its matter, that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us, and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, the true
character of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct and opinions should be tried.
Of the True God
We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God, and infinite, intelligent spirit, whose name is Jehovah, the maker and supreme ruler of the heaven and earth, inexpressibly glorious in the holiness, and worthy of all possible honor, confidence, and love, that in the unity of the godhead there are three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmonious office in the great work of redemption.
Isaiah 43:11 Isaiah 45:51
The Fall of Man
We believe that man was created in holiness, under the law of his maker, but by the voluntary transgression fell from that holy and happy state; In consequence of which all mankind are now sinners, not by constraint; But choice, being by nature utterly void of that holiness required by the law of God, positively inclined to evil; and therefore, under just condemnation to eternal ruin, without defense or excuse.
The Way of Salvation
We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace; through the mediatorial office of the Son of God; who by the appointment of the Father freely took upon him our nature, yet without sin, honored freely took upon him our nature, yet without sin, honored the divine law by his personal obedience, and by his death made a full atonement for our sins; that risen from the dead, he is now enthroned in heaven; and uniting in his wonder person the tender sympathies with divine perfections, He is every way qualified to be suitable, a compassionate, and an all-sufficient Savior.
Justification
We believe that the great gospel blessing which Christ secures to such as a believer in Him justification. That justification includes the pardon of sin and the promise of eternal life on principles of righteousness; that it is bestowed, not in consideration of any works of righteousness which we have done, but solely through faith in the Redeemer’s blood; by virtue of which faith his perfect righteousness if freely imputed to us of God, that it brings us into a state of most blessed peace and favor with God, and secures every other blessing needful for time and eternity.
“WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW”
YOU NEED TO KNOW YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.
YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR PREDICAMENT.
YOU NEED TO KNOW THERE IS A PENALTY.
YOU NEED TO KNOW THERE IS A PROVISION.
YOU NEED TO KNOW THERE IS A PARDON.
YOU NEED TO KNOW THERE IS A PROCESS.
THE PROBLEM (Romans 3:23) For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. All men are sinners when measured against the standards of the Holy God.
THE PREDICAMENT (Romans 4:4-5) To the one who works, his wages is not reckoned as a favor but what is due. One who does not work but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness? There is nothing a person can do to earn or merit forgiveness and a right standing before a Holy God.
THE PENALTY (Romans 5:12) Through one-man sin entered the World…so death spread to all men because all sinned. Sin demands a penalty and that penalty is physical death (where the soul is separated from the body) and spiritual death is (where the soul is eternally separated from God).
THE PROVISION (Romans 5:8) God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God loves us so much that He provided Jesus Christ, His Son to take our place on the cross and pay the penalty for our sins.
MEMBERSHIP
What is membership? Membership is the access to the privileges of all one is entitled to in the church. Membership is joining a family of congregated believers where nourishment and spiritual care is given by the church as needed.

BAPTISM
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior. It is the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to the believer’s faith in the final resurrection of the dead. Being a church ordinance, it is prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord’s Supper.
